Gif avatars... help please!

Can you tell me what software and what configuration on it you use for creating .gifs? Like this http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx213/soyunabestia/bestia/celebr.gif and this http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx213/soyunabestia/smiley/danca_co_bluebird.gif ?

Mine are getting too slow(not the real speed as the vid, as in the gifs above), like this one ---> http://i47.tinypic.com/r2paox.gif. I just wanna know how you can make them at normal speed as in the video.

Thanks in advance!

Help with an old Photograph

I am uploading a very old photo that is of my grandpa and grandma's 50th - it is very grainy, speckled and the focus is not very good on this, the only copy I have.

I am not that good with photos, and even what I would normally try is beyond the limits of my present computer, which is not the one I had - though a bit newer, it is far inferior to that which I had before in power and memory, and really hiccups when I try to do anything too intense on it - plus, as I said, I am not that good with photos.

If you all could work your marvelous talents on this to make it as good as possible, it would be greatly appreciated, and I would be very grateful.

Love in Christ,

Bill

Santa if you please

Can you brilliant animators do something with two of my avatars?

Perhaps on just the smiling face put a nice santa cap on it?

The dancing one will be more difficult to do that with since it is all over the place. But maybe a nice christmas tree in the background so the cat is dancing in front of it? Like you did with my St. Patrick Day one. ( Shown for example)

Creative help needed for acoustic guitar thumbnail

I need a cool acoustic guitar thumbnail to mark a new discussion group. Other than it being no larger than 100KB and in gif or jpeg format, I leave the rest to the creative minds here. I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Thanks for your efforts in advance.

Looking for Broadband Reports Twitter news feed logo

Finally getting off my duff and creating a Twitter account for our news feed, and looking for some help by anyone willing to do a little pro-bono help in creating a clean, sexy Broadband Reports logo for it. I lack the shop skills.

I could have sworn I had some old ones laying around and that we've asked for this help in the past, so if you remember that thread please give me a nudge in the right direction.

Ideally, looking for something simple and elegant, not too far off of the logo we use for browser URL quick launch toolbars. It should be based on our existing header logo, but be smaller and square (please visit Twitter and look at a few accounts if you need help understanding what I'm talking about).
