Tomato juice price?

Whats with Heinz tomato juice prices lately. You used to see it on sale for .99 yet its more than doubled and does not go on sale lately. Seems some other tomato products lately too are more expensive like Hunt's tomato sauce.

Was there some sort of bad Tomato crop lately or what?

How do you allow an 8-9 record in the playoffs?

Not that it matters with 4 of their 5 QBs hurt.

Flu Pandemic ? What Flu Pandemic ?

This is what FEAR will do... :uhh:
You most likely won't see this on the CBC

http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/pandemic-what-flu-pandemic-1817715.html

Tuesday, 10 November 2009

The 2009 swine flu pandemic may turn out to be the weakest in history. It is spreading more slowly than expected and the latest figures show a flattening, or even a dip, in new infections. It is mild in most people but severe in a few and, while it readily infects children, it appears to spare the elderly. With the vaccine being rolled out, its impact should be further curbed.

Britain's Chief Medical Officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, published a worst-case scenario suggesting the country should plan for up to 65,000 deaths. That planning assumption has since been revised downwards twice. In September the "worst case" was cut to 19,000 deaths, and in October it was cut again to 1,000 deaths. This compares with an average annual toll of 4,000 to 8,000 deaths from seasonal winter flu.

So far in the UK, 154 people have died from the virus

Dr Laurence Buckman, chairman of the British Medical Association's GPs committee said: "The original government masterplan was for a maximum of 250,000 dead. But that was based on avian flu. It became clear that swine flu did not pose the same risk. Compared with those earlier assumptions it is looking pretty tame."

how stupid people think

http://yro.slashdot.org/story/09/11/22/027229/Brazilian-Breaks-Secrecy-of-Brazils-E-Voting-Machines-With-Van-Eck-Phreaking

1st goto this post read how one guy essentially copies all said data form these and then you see things like this isnt dangerous its only one guy.....

THAT is until he uses his 1000000 man botnet as a cracking encryption super computer that makes the top line devices that do it for govts look like stupidware. ONCE you have data it can be shared disected and cracked and a lot faster then they think then they could go back insert whatever data they wish.......

HACKED
P.S> the reason fo rhtis post was elections canada wanting to do online voting they should take note of the post at slashdot and this post.....sniffing your data is dangerous.....
and i got warned a few years abck about htis type a hacking and htat you shuold never have a monitor with imagery facing the window as it can be viewed as this explains
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Eck

Van Eck phreaking is the process of eavesdropping on the contents of a CRT and LCD display by detecting its electromagnetic emissions. It is named after Dutch computer researcher Wim van Eck, who in 1985 published the first paper on it, including proof of concept.Phreaking is the process of exploiting telephone networks, used here because of its connection to eavesdropping.

Van Eck phreaking might also be used to compromise the secrecy of the votes in an election using electronic voting. This caused the Dutch government to ban the use of NewVote computer voting machines manufactured by SDU in the 2006 national elections, under the belief that ballot information might not be kept secret.

IT can also be used by law enforcement to capture data on unsuspecting people as well as other criminal investigations.
NOTE LCDS are also vulnerable to this BUT plasma isn't....AND what do they want to ban?

ALSO for 900$ i can acquire a device that can tell me where these beams are coming and if attached to a computer it can record. Same device can also tell you where television spy cameras are located as well as any transmitting devices that emit certain signals.....pretty impressive when i saw this toy in action 5 years ago....
