Borderlands?

Well, I must say, I picked up Borderland to "hold me" until CODMW2 comes out and I'm really surprised. This game rocks, especially when you play it with a few people. It's been a long time since someone has brought the multiplayer RPS game this far. Sure, there are better graphics out there, and it takes a little while to get going, but once you do get going, this game is awesome.
Although, another friend of mine went to pick it up yesterday and nobody had any left, it seems as though maybe it's selling really well.
I've been playing it on the 360 and its seriously highly recommended, good by yourself, great with friends. Oh, and make sure that your friends use different character classes because you can sort of use your friends ability too.

Anyway, just thought I'd give my two cents!

Where can I buy original Xbox games?

My sister's fiancee gave me an original Xbox console a couple of months ago.

I have looked on newegg (My preferred option), but they don't have a large selection.

Ebay and craigslist are a last resort option for me, due to the fact that I have gotten ripped off on both sites (Mainly sellers not coming through with the goods after I had paid).

Are there any reputable online stores which still sell a good selection of Xbox games? I do realize that games for this console may be hard to come by.

Thumbnails for Ripped Movies (Xbox 360)

In an effort to better organize my life, I've been ripping my movie library so that I can stream it from my PC to my Xbox.

It's working great, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to add a thumbnail to the file. I'd love to be able to see each movie's cover artwork when scrolling through my library.

L4D2 Demo

I downloaded the L4D2 demo on my 360 yesterday and played three rounds and my feelings are mixed about it right now. The demo takes place on the first two chapters of 'The Parish' story which appears to be located in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

The only major negative point (and I suspect this will be fixed soon) is that everyone had a red bar connection. I was playing with two people that before this we were 4 out of 4 bars on MW, so the problem wasn't on the user end. The lag was laughably bad, hit the trigger once on a shotgun two shells fired out and only counted as one shot.

Now for the good news, Valve has done a lot content wise. In the demo alone I saw four new special infected while the returning special infected had new several skins each (except the witch). Also on each playthrough we noticed that paths that were open before were now closed, vice versa, kept the playthroughs fresh longer. Not to mention new weapons and equipment. While the overall graphic has a lot more spit & shine to it.

New special infected that I saw: Police Zombie covered in Kevlar armor, only weak spot in the armor is the back. The Jockey is a normal sized male hunched back zombie that latches onto a person, obstructs there view and ability to walk while doing a little damage. The Spitter, an elongated female zombie spits extremely damaging acid on the ground, if on a roof can spray acid long distances. Last but not least is the Charger, a smaller version of the tank, set to a normal scale with an extra large arm that it charges with, tackles the player down to the ground, and then keep the player held to the ground while beating them (highly recommend to take them out from a distance as soon as they're spotted).

Now for the arsenal: Two different models of the normal pistol with 15 rounds apiece and can be duel-wielded as normal. Another pistol labeled as magnum but the pistol is clearly a desert eagle, 8 rounds, cannot be duel-wielded, slower rate of fire, to make up for this is that it can take down normal zombies in 1 to 2 shots. Three melee weapons I found, an iron pan, a guitar, and a machete. Of those I found the machete was the most effective (who would've guessed ;)). All of the main weapons return along with one or two alternatives per gun type. A Chrome Plated Shotgun, acts like the starter shotgun from the original. A Combat Shotgun, automatic, slower rate of fire, overall the shot seems to do more damage compared to the original auto shotgun, modeled as a SPAS12. The Uzi now comes in silenced and non-silenced flavors. An AK-47, 40 round clip, slower rate of fire, shots feel more powerful overall. IIRC the name correctly the FN SCAR, 60 round clip, auto but fires in three round bursts, feels about as powerful as the M16. Lastly, a new military grade sniper rifle, no one picked it up so I'll bring those details later.

New equipment: In place of medpack there can now be a defibrillator which will revive teammates if they die. Adrenaline Pin, that takes the same slot as the peels, that increases the player speed (very useful if you're the one disturbing the witch). Lastly is the canister of boomer bile, same as the pipe bomb and molotov, when thrown on a zombie the horde will attack that zombie instead (do I even need to recommend this for tanks and witches :D).

Man I wish I had the cash to buy this game when it comes out, unfortunately I have to push this one back onto my Christmas list.
