I couldn't be more satified with a dsl isp. I have had no down time in the 3 months I've been with Omsoft.
I switched from PacHell (PBI) to Omsoft. Since they are an authorised isp for PacBell DSL transport the switch was easy and no down time. You are on a split billing... $39 charged by ASI on your phone bill and $6 for dynamic ip or $12.50 for a static ip from Omsoft. I also host my own domain on my dsl line so I pay Omsoft an additonal $10 a month for dns services, forward and reverse.
I highly recomend Omsoft.

Shouldn't Robert post a "Welcome" message in here or something?

| | New omsoft customer. I've been hooked up to IDSL for about 24 hours now. More reliable then my old dial up account. No disconnects and timeouts, plus I love the speed.
The only thing that's I'm disappointed in is the latency, it's nearly the same as my old dial up, only less stable. I vary between 120-280ms in games. I was hoping for allot less since on dial up I was getting about 130ms rock solid.
Other then the latency, omsoft is the best ISP I've had.

| | New dsl customer
I've been with Omsoft for a week now. Everything seems to be OK so far. I have a 384-1.5/128 static IP service and I'm about 6000 feet from the CO. I did the speed check on this site and it comes up with download @ 160 and upload @112. Is that normal or to slow? Any opinion is appreciate it. Thanks

| | Local Service, Humans to talk to! Ive been a subscriber to Omsoft for 2 years now, and i have to say, this group is one of the best Ive worked with in my 12 years of IT here in the Sacramento area. If i have had a problem (which is practically NEVER) i can call, and talk to the OWNER of the company, and if i leave a message, I'm called back within the hour.
I have always preferred to use smaller vendors, giving the customer access to a HUMAN, and not an automated system of useless answers and the never ending WAIT.
Hats off to you Rob and your group. I will be reselling your service to my clients, and will continue to use Omsoft as my broadband provider for years to come!
....did i mention VERY COMPETITIVE RATES??.........

| | D/L Speed 1/3 of Usual ATT is supposedly doing work on fiber in my area. The result is that my d/l burst speed is down to 1/3 of normal. Calls to my ISP have not resulted in any change since yesterday (friday). I'm definitely feeling dissed. | |
