 | Anon | Falsely advertising coverage Inconnect states on the DSLreports page that they provide my area and phone with IDSL service... Going direct to Inconnect, and they say they have no coverage in my area. | |

 | | Anon | Re: Falsely advertising coverage Hello-
I appoligize you were misled by our coverage listing. It is not our intention to "falsely advertise coverage". This would not lead to anything but wasted time for you and us.
I maintain the Inconnect.com listing on dslreports. I entered coverage based on CLLI codes (CO's) provided to me by my Covad Support Manager. Please let me know your address so that I can see what the problem is and can make changes so that no one has the same experience.
Again, I appoligize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Thanks,

Anonymous-
I would tend to believe that listing where I can offer DSL will be more beneficial at this time. As the Nations leading DSL provider, Covad has DSL available to less than 40% of US homes and businesses. It wouldn't make much sense to list the areas that can't get it, that would be more confusing. At some point in the future it may be better to say "We can offer DSL everywhere, except X, X, and X." But right now trying to list the areas where DSL is not available would be incredibly difficult and ridiculous. With the way dslreports has set up this site, it doesn't take long to find out if a particular provider can offer you DSL or not. If in question, email the provider.
If you have any questions for me, please, email me. I'd be more than happy to help you.
Thanks,

 | Anon | Inconnect ROCKS!!! I have been an inconnect customer with a dial up account for many years now. I was user number 2xx when they started up.
they are always upgrading hardware and software to meet the demands of the users, they have very few outtages and the support staff (tho I have only called twice) is top notch.
I recently switched to a dsl account via rmi.net/covad and hope that my success will continue.
just my .02 worth. | |

 | Anon | INCONNECT is an excellent ISP!
How do I know INCONNECT is an excellent ISP? I know because I use to work there and I know the people who still work there and they will do everything and anything within their power to get you up and running.
Do you realize how many hoops it takes to go through to get someone DSL? The process involves the ISP, the DSL provider (Covad, NewEdge, etc), and USWest because they own the lines to your house. It's pretty much a crap shoot whether you can get DSL and get it in a reasonable amount of time (less than two months is good), regardless of the ISP you deal with.
What puts INCONNECT on top is their commitment to excellence. If you really are interested in getting DSL, just give them a call and Darren or someone else will be more than willing to help you out. They'll keep you updated throughout the entire setup process too, so you are never kept in the dark. How's that for customer service!

 | | Which page is right. Inconnects page on dslreports lists a huge number of places. Their web page says only Utah. What is the deal. | |

Inconnect is both a local and a national provider. We can service our DSL customers on a national basis while we are limited on our Dialup coverage. We are able to offer national coverage because we are partnered with national DSL providers.
I hope this clears up your question. I am available if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thanks.
