| Wow magma rocks! A highly recommended DSL ISP if you are in needed of a alternative from Bell Sympatico. You get more benefits like unlimited downloads/uploads from 12am - 7am, 247 no wait in line friendly and helpful tech support, and the customer representative does actually care if you had a problem with your connection. In the beginning my modem didn't work at first then i called up and asked for a replacement which i got 1-2 days later. The customer rep. called me up after 4 weeks and asked about hows the modem doing and is there any problems. talking about a company that treats their customers right, unlike Rogers. In essence, i highly recommend this ISP to anyone that needs a alternative for DSL! | |

| Magma Communication Magma no longer exists. It was bought out by Primus Canada, a couple of years ago. You no longer get the friendly and fast service Magma used to offer. If you need tech support now from them, be prepared to be put on hold and wait, and wait, and wait... | |

"You no longer get the friendly and fast service Magma used to offer." is right. The fast efficient service was the reason I signed up with Magma years ago. I was on hold for 40 minutes waiting for a tech the other day, before I hung up because I had other things to do with my day.
I sent an email to the support email address, got the auto-response, but still no answer 3 days later.
So before I used to recommend Magma as an ISP, that is no longer the case. | |

Canada | Re: Magma Communication I cancelled my account with Magma after having been a long time client. Their service, since taken over by Primus, dwindled down to the point of being totally unacceptable for me. Their call center is now in India. | |
