Fioptics ZTE modem/router will not forward port 80

Just got fioptics installed to my work. 12 fiber's coming in to our building, ungodly expensive business monthly rate and yet they still give us the piece of shit ZTE modem/router.

For the life of me, I cannot get it to forward port 80 to one of our machines that runs a small webserver.

If I go to NAT, I can add a port forward for port 80. When I apply the settings, it tells me that the web server on the router itself will be moved to port 8080. Great, right?

No, it doesn't actually move it to port 8080. The router still hosts its page on port 80 and will not forwards the packets and 8080 is closed. I have wireshark running on the webserver and nothing is coming in on port 80. Other ports work, but port 80 will not forward for the life of me.

Any ideas? No option to put it in bridge mode either. We have a VPN router doing all of the other NAT and such, so basically there's double NAT going on.

Looking for help with NAT Loopback on ZTE router

I had fioptics installed last week. I use port forwarding for a computer that I use for demonstrating a software solution. Everything works fine when I am outside my network. When I am at home, I can not access the computer with the URL I have setup. This is on a ZTE model ZXHN H368C. There appears to be no way to turn on NAT Loopback which is what I need. I called support and went through two techs and then to a third who basically dropped the ball by saying he would call me back in 3-6 minutes....it has been over 2 hours now. I suspect he bailed on this ticket. Getting worried that CB is not going to help so I am posting here hoping someone has solved this problem.

IPTV multicast.. bridge mode or no

I saw some users here know a thing or two about the ZTE router Cincy Bell uses for their FTTP installs. Mine was just installed this week but they put the ZTE router upstream of my brand new Asus RT-N56 router. I've assigned my router a static IP in the ZTE GUI, put it on the DMZ and all incoming port forwarding is working as it should.

But I also have their IPTV service and I'd like to extend it to my Asus router's network if possible. It looks like multicast is being stripped when coming into the Asus router and I'd like to know if anyone's gotten a setup like this working together. Do I just forward IGMP somehow? I saw a suggestion to put the ZTE router in bridge mode, which would simplify things, but I'm also using the MOCA connection for some of my set top boxes and I'm not sure this will interfere. Any ideas out there?

Fioptics Internet as promised but TV could be better

So I have read through many of the threads here on FiOptics and can agree with some points.

We have FTTH, on the 30/10 plan. Down/up speeds are as advertised. I cannot complain about the down/up speeds with regards to regular internet usage. I have not tried to configure any sort of game hosting or team speak sort of thing, but I am happy with the internet.
http://www.speedtest.net/result/2700708437.png

We have bundled internet, cable and POTS.
Our POTS has dial-tone, a wireless and even includes an "antique" Bell Systems by Western Electric rotary phone marked 4-56 on the bottom.
-my only complaint about the phone service is that the over 50 year old rotary rings more weakly than it had on previous service. Frankly I am happy that it rings at all, other digital phone services failed to ring this "antique"
-all of our other "land lines" work just fine, and I am happy with the phone service otherwise, except...
-caller ID does not seem to display on the TV while watching FiOptics cable despite being set to display. (caller ID does work on other phones with built in callerID)

The only main gripe we have is with the cableTV... While I enjoy having a wider range of channels than we had with TW (like Smithsonian) the interface on the ZTE B703V3A DVR and B700V3A STBs lags quite a bit, and frequently our programs studder and skip a bit, especially when watching one show while recording another.

The amount of studder and skip is highly annoying and significantly detracts from our viewing experience.

Also, CinBel is offering free premium channels, but has not got HBOgo set up, so that is also a bummer.

tldr;
if you are mostly interested in the internet speed, FiOptics is great, but if cableTV is your main thing, well...

Cincinnati Bell FiOptics Billing & Overcharge issues

I received a great offer to switch to CinciBell FiOptics in November 2012, but my bill never reflected the amount we agreed on. I have disputed the overcharge multiple times, but it has remained unfixed. Dealing with this issue has been a nightmare and no customer service rep or the sales rep who made the offer has been able to fix this. Has anyone else had this issue? Not worth it for me.

Fioptics Resetting

I have Cincinnati Bell Fioptics (the version with fiber directly to our house, and then converted to Ethernet in the garage area). Our internet has been out since Saturday morning, and the technician couldn't come until Monday evening. The power light on the box where the fiber is terminated is off. Is there any way to reset it easily?
