Also they only allow 5gb upload transfer and 10gb download transfers a month, certainly a rip off for the 39.95 a month, with scaled back speeds. If it was truly a 1500/1000 speed it may be worth the price. | |

Brandon, MB | Re: 1500/1000 in their dreams Don't confuse bits with bytes. Wave claims 1500 Kbps down and 1000 Kbps up. That mean Kilobits per second. This translates to 187.5 KBps down and 125 KBps up. KBps is kilobytes per second. There are 8 bits to a byte, and therefore you must multiply by 8 when your downloads are being measured in bytes. This is the same for all providers.
I have been a Wave customer through Westman Communications Group for years, and have consistently seen substantially better transfers rates than any other high speed provider offering a comparably priced service.

Brandon, MB | Cap Yes they do have a cap 15gig/down and 10/gig up 3mbs/down 1mbs/up dam good but MTS dsl has no cap and is 3MBS down just the upload is 320K a sec:( | |
