ghideon join:2001-01-09 Union City, CA | The little guys rock Small provider in Fremont and Oakland. Had them for a year now, with nothing to complain about. Very responsive when you need em (only had to call em once, and that was cause of the shoddy work that Covad did on the drop box). They'll be dropping Covad pretty soon, too. Great bunch of guys. I refuse to mail my check in; I'd rather go drop by once a month just to shoot the stuff (when they're not helping someone).

Richard gave me information that was helpful. Migrating an entire companies customer base to a new ISP operations center is not an easy task and I expect a glitch or two during the transition. I know from conversations with Surfcity's 'Rosemary' that both Surfcity and Hypersurf are working hard to minimize the glitches.
| | | | Ever since Hypersurf bought SurfCity, my DSL speeds has been very unreliable. Some days it is in the 2500s in the morning, than for no reason it drops to between 500 to 800kbps. Have been working with their support for over almost 2 weeks, still cannot find the problem. I have eliminated possibility of internal problems by using a different DSL modem (Sent by HyperSurf) and a notebook at the dmark (phone room of the building that only phone company and landlord has keys). Verizon says it is not the line. Hypersurf says it is not them, they have OC3. I am on the last straw with Hypersurf. | |
