This is NOT an unusual thing to see:
---------
Failure of server APACHE bridge:

No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds.
Build date/time: Apr 27 2004 13:49:41

Change Number: 376380

-------
the error message wary time to time, but keeping uptime is something they don't bother doing, as well as upgrading the system, obviously. (check out the build date in the error message)

Want quality phone service? Avoid LINGO

This company will not allow you to cancel their service. When you indicate you want to cancel they place you on hold and never pick up the phone.

I sent an email canceling the service and they continued to charge my credit card. I challenged the charges and got four months worth of credit through my credit card company.

I did have to cancel my credit card number and have a new one issued to stop the monthly charges from LINGO. I literally wasted hours on the phone getting these charges to stop.

Setting the system up is complicated, I was able to receive calls, but not place them and the sound quality is horrible. Save yourself the headaches and waste of time on the phone. Avoid Lingo.

Lingo phone adapter looses VOIP connection

I have a iAN-02EX. It is connected to a Cradlepoint MBR-1000, which has a AT&T Wireless Broadband USB modem. When I first reboot the phone adapter it connects, the VOIP light comes on and I can make outbound phone calls (I have not tried to make an inbound phone call to see if those work). Within a minute or two it looses it's VOIP connection. Anyone has any ideas?

Re: Lingo phone adapter looses VOIP connection

For VOIP you must have a stable internet connection to use it. If you are using wireless internet service other than cable, dsl, or fiber you probably don't have enough bandwidth to support the VOIP adapter. VOIP adapters need a a sufficient amount of upstream and downstream bandwidth just for itself.
