Block Advertisings in Skype 6

This seems to work good on blocking animated adverts:

you can manually block the local server names/addresses from which Skype refers for its advertising by using the site blocking feature you can find on avast! free antivirus.

1. Right-click the ads in Skype; a menu should open, and than go to Settings. The flash menu panel should open (for animated adverts only); than go to the privacy section. Here you should see the site to which Skype connects for its adverts.

2. Add in the site blocking feature of avast!
From the main view go to Security -> tools; here you can add sites to block.
After adding the link you found on flash panel, erase all IE history and also flash cache. You can do this easily with ccleaner.
After this you should not see advertising.
If this is not the case, repeat the previous steps to eventually add new sites from which Skype may refer for its advertising.
