When I signed up for ADSL vith virgin media it wasn't too bad. Recently my speeds have gone through the floor. I phoned them up and they say that because I downloaded 5GB I am a 'heavy user' and am contravening the 'Fair Usage Policy'. They have limited me to 512KB from 1600 to 00001 everyday. That's 1/16th of the speed that I'm paying for!
I've been on the phone to the complaints department for 20 minutes now. no answer. It looks like there are a lot of complaints going through.
Have recently got all Wi-Fi Broadband from Virgin. My wife's Windows laptop works fine but I cannot get anything to enable my slightly older Mac to access via the Netgear hub they supplied. Has anyone got a solution? Jim
