Springfield, IL | Any other users out there ? Hi All,
Found only one review and was wondering if anyone else has tried this. It is coming to Springfield, IL soon and I figured I'd try it if I didn't hear any complaints.
Currently running InsightBB but Comcast is taking over Jan 1 and since I can no longer get Illini Basketball and the internet is so iffy, and that I spend so little time on the net anymore it's time to get rid of that headache.

 | | | Re: Any other users out there ? Well, so far the service hasn't been the best for me. Pretty much get dial-up speeds no matter what plan I'm on. Called customer service- I guess it's probably because I'm too far from tower or there's something in the line of sight. I guess there's a $60 "booster" antenna that might help. It might work for you though. | |

| | angry I AM ANGRY WITH XANADOO BECAUSE OF HOW THEIR SYSTEM WORKS EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS THEY KICK ME OFF AND I HAVE TO RE-ENTER MY CREDIT CARD INFO AND BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $5.41 WHAT KINDA MESS IS THIS? ITS NOT A LOT OF MONEY BUT IT DOES ADD UP. AND I WANT TO KNOW WHY I CANT PAY YEARLY AND BE DONE WITH THE WHOLE DRAMA OF IT ALL .THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME RE-ENTERING MY INFO THEN I WILL POLITELY MOVE MY SERVICES. | | Xanadoo in Illinois is terrible. Have had it now for four months and service is up and down. Works in the day and no service at night. Customer service is never there when it is down. Called them every week for three months with complaints until someone suggested getting a replacement modem. It worked great for another month, now all it does at night is become disconnected only to connect again at a lower speed. | |
