Strange PhonePower problems

I have had PP since Nov. 2012. It was great until the beginning of April 2013. Since then I have not been able to call my local numbers in xxx-278-xxxx with any kind of consistency. ALL other outgoing calls and features work fine as well as all incoming calls. Any calls outgoing to 278 local code call results in messages from "invalid routing call contact your phone provider", dead air, ringing 4 or 5 times then dead air etc. After 16 or 18 e-mails and attempts with T2 techs I have resolved the problem going back to TIME WARNER phone for $20 a month just to call local codes in the xxx-278-xxxx, sucks but what can I do. Still keeping PP for all the other goodies which are great plus not giving up and losing my 2 year paid up front fees. ! Anyone else have something like this problem. i.e. calling into a Frontier system with voip?

Bogus Billing!!

After returning my equipment when I left the Phone Power Company. I receive a bill for $151.54 cents. I try and call the collection agency to see why after getting a free account I am being charged. She says I have to write a letter of dispute to the company in order to even resolve this situation. To me this is utterly ridiculous. I call Phone Power and waiting on hold for over 30minutes. I don't see why you would have to wait in order to pay anyone money. Just imagine about trying to receive Customer Support. After calling them and talking with a agent, she explains to me that I would have to call the credit agency regarding my billing. Since she does not have any information on file. How can you be a company charging people money and not even explain why you are being charged. After asking for a manager, I was hung up on and never called back!! Will not be getting anything from phone power anytime soon!!
