Voice PRI Caller ID

My customer has ordered a T1 "Flex Integrated" which is a T1 circuit to a Cisco IAD and the Cisco IAD provides a local PRI but it is transmitted back over XO's network as VoIP using MGCP signaling if any of that matters.

When you dial outbound calls irregardless of how the PBX is configured the main number shows on the caller ID. We called XO and they stated that this is how the service works, it will only ever show 1 number for caller ID, that number can be changed with a 48 hour delay but that is it.

What I need is for the PBX to set the caller ID most people will have the main number show up for their outbound calls (but not the "main" number that XO designated) and some will have their own number shown up.

If they can do (which I don't see why not) to set ANY caller ID for example someone forwards their phone to their cell phone it will show the actual caller id of the original call that would be great, but I can settle for only being able to set caller ID as one of the numbers XO assigned.

Does anyone have any experience with XO and these matters? Why do they say they can't do anything about it? And if this can be changed who do I have to talk to and what exactly needs to be asked for?

Besides this XO support has been crap. I explained how it worked above but say we wanted to connect with them via SIP not PRI -- all they need to do is configure the Cisco IAD to do MGCP SIP instead of PRI but guess what they refuse to do that or even give us the password for the Cisco IAD so we can do it ourselves.
