| Don't forget Xdrive Check out »www.xdrive.com when looking for on-line storage options. Another one is »www.driveway.com
Each one has it's benefits and drawbacks, but do offer a way to share files with family and friends, if they are too big for e-mail.

| Mangomind Thought I'd mention another online storage product: Mangomind, from Mangosoft. http://www.mangosoft.com.
Note: I'm one of its developers. Therefore this is not a review, and I'm trying to make this a neutral "hey you might want to check this out" posting rather than out-and-out advertising.
I'll attempt to summarize what Mangomind does for you, so you can compare it to some of the other products around:
It looks just like a local drive. You can access it from any Windows application, including of course Explorer; this is more convenient that copying into and out of network storage.
It employs local caching so that subsequent local accesses to the same file run at local disk speed rather than network speed.
You can access data (as long as you have that file locally cached, naturally) even when not connected. You can even modify files offline. Reconciliation code checks for conflicting changes when you next connect.
Access to your virtual disk can be granted to any users you specify. We support Windows NT type file security: an access control list can be added to any file.
We use strong cryptography to protect your data both across the network and when it is stored on our servers. Mangomind cannot read your data files. We never possess the decryption key on our server.
Since this is a business-class service, it's not free. However, you can get a trial account free until the end of the calendar year.
Take a look.
