allow re-voting in polls

Let assume a poll is started, but then based on the feedback, the OP would like to add additional options. That is certainly possible with 'Edit', but people who already voted can't vote again. (unless they eat some cookies, I think, but that's a different issue)

What I'd like to see is that after 'Edit', the OP should have an option to allow people who already voted to vote again. Old votes could be kept for simplicity's sake, though if it's not too much work, they could be replaced with the new vote, but that would be an optional 'nice to have'.

TIA

[new forum] A forum for web sites issues?

Not sure if this was suggested (or rejected) earlier, but can there be a forum for web site or usage issues?
For example, if someone has a question about setting up an account or using gmail, Facebook, etc.?
I'm sure there are many forum members here who would be able to address these questions.
Currently, I don't believe there is a suitable forum for these questions. As a result, questions might end up being asked in a Mac forum, for example, which would be ignored by Windows users, and vice versa.
Facebook and gmail, for example, have abysmal forums or help areas (IMHO).

Forum Index Update

Would be cool if forum indexes updated like threads do. That way you could easily follow a whole forum full of threads without having to reload the index page or have each thread open in a tab.

I suppose I could make Firefox reload the page at interval, but what's the fun in that?

New post arrow in a message as well in the forum list

I'll try to explain this as best as I can.

I know when you got to a forum and in the forum list on the posts you have read there is a blue arrow that you click to go to the new posts in that thread.

What I'd like to see is that arrow on top of the thread when you open it.

Like say I go to the Microsoft forum, say there are 3 in a row that I had read before and have new posts in them.

Well I click on the blue arrow and get the new posts, but then when I click on the title of the next post, I get all the posts from when it was posted to the new ones.

Having the arrow there would allow me to jump to the new replies without having to scroll down to find them. Especially on threads that are real popular and get to be multipage long threads.

I know I could just click the microsoft forum link and then pick the blue arrow on the next one that way, but it would be quicker to click on the title of the next message and if it was one I read before then use the new post arrow there to advance to the unread posts in that one.
