They just won't stop calling me!

Every morning, 8:15 to 8:19 am, I get a phone call from a debt collection agency. The call is meant from someone I don't know, and the debt collectors have the wrong number.

Whenever I pick up the phone, I explain that it's the wrong number, and that I want them to stop calling me. They claim that they're removing me and that I won't get calls again, great! Next morning, they call me again.

What can I do? Complain to the FTC, the BBB? How long would something like that take?

P.S: I have VOIP with Lingo, and one of the great things is that I can redirect calls from any number. So in this case I would simply redirect their call back to them, but the phone calls are always coming in from different numbers, so I can't do that.

White Pages (My home address)

So today I put in my phone number 559-***-**** in whitepages.com to see if my name would show up, well it did, but my home address was wrong, I don't even live near the street they had me on. I was like wtf??? Should I be worried about something or is it just an error on their part???

Airport Security

I will be going away on vacation and the flight is 2hrs which is the longest flight I've been on, so I was going to use my laptop as my carry on.

What are the processes of a laptop going through airport security? If they make me put my laptop bag through the xray machine, will it be damaging to the laptop? Thanks!

Frontline plus

Since THIS thread is too old to update,http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20676372-Calling-all-doggie-owners-where-pooch-is-over-50-LBS I'd like to throw something out to all the people who use FRONTLINE PLUS for their doggies...

I was in Petsmart on Sat when I noticed the woman in front of me buying Biosopt (which she said she has used SEVERAL times before with no problems.) ANYWAY, she said (and the cashier agreed) that FRONTLINE PLUS is prescription?????

This isn't so, is it? Is that why my order at drsfosterandsmith.com is taking so long? I also figured that if that IS the case, the very least they could do is call or email me and tell me.
(I know for a fact that my vet won't fax to them.)

Dog Question

Hi all,

I've had my 4 month old female multi-pom to the vet twice now. She's just randomly squeeling and reaching to her butt trying to bite it. First he said he diden't know what it could be and put her on pain medicine. So we took her back today for the same thing and he kept her for a few hours and of course she never squeeled for them but he said her anal glands were swollen and they cleaned them. Just now she squeeled again badly. Should we wait a few days or take her to the vet again? Has anyone else had this problem?

[cable] Outdoor Cable modem???

Does anyone know of an outdoor cable modem? I have been searching for awhile now and only found the SMC8511, which I cannot find for sale anywhere.

I have thought of all other possibilities, and we absolutely must have the cable modem outside where the antenna is due to cable length restrictions. (fixed point wireless) I am covering the distance with a point to point wireless bridge, but for the life of me can't find a modem that will take the weather!! Please advise-

Thanks!
