[E-Mail] Switched to TWC Email - iPhone/iPad: Louisville, K

So I created a new twc email account today. Ive setup thunderbird on my pc without any issues. I can send and receive without issue.

I setup my iPhone, I can send and receive via cellular signal but if I connect to my wifi, I can receive but not send. Please keep in mind this is the same wifi I can send using thunderbird on my pc.

Has anyone run into this? And trust me, the twc website instructions for setting up an iPhone are not correct, at least for my wifi.

What outgoing settings are you using on your iPhone/iPad?

[Connectivity] Insight CMH Outage 1am 06/17/13.

Anyone else in Columbus loose service?

My connection went down around 1am on 06/17/13....

I was remote so I could not troubleshoot.. Got home about 4am found the modem was synced but my router could not connect... (still had the 75.187.xx.xx) IP I have had since I had Insight installed.

Anyways -- rebooted my router ... pulled a 65.x IP now.

I did a "traceroute" from network-tools.com to my new IP I noticed something different ....

The new 65.x ip:

TraceRoute from Network-Tools.com to 65.xx.xx.xx [cpe-65-xx-xx-xx.insight.res.rr.com]
Hop	(ms)	(ms)	(ms) IP Address	Host name

Hops 9 and 10 stand out... "midohio.rr.com"

I did a tracert to the old 75.x IP I had prior to my connection dying...

11 Timed out Timed out Timed out

On the old IP the traceroutes always "mentioned" Insight.rr.com on the last few hops before it timed out but on my new (working) IP it refers to "midohio.rr.com" now...

I am guessing my connection dying is part of the "move" from Insight RR to Time Warner Internet Services (which is to happen in Columbus July 1st).

sadly speed is still 20 down / 1mb up.

[Other] TWC MyServices Change

Service went down about 5am eastern this morning and came back on around 6am and was able to do the change. Its simple and got some really nice stuff. Whats going to be really nice is it cuts calls down ALOT.

To make it simple for anyone who's in the insight area changing over.

1. Log into https://myservices.timewarnercable.com/
2. they will ask for a email address (I used my gmail)
3. You will have 72 hours after you click continue to check your email for the link to the next set of instructions
4. They will ask for things for proof of yourself (email, bank account, zip etc
5. Then you will come to where you do your user account name and password
6. Once in there's ALOT of great stuff. it makes insight look like pony delivery in the 1800s. Everything is there and soo easy to use. Its almost overwhelming. I downloaded the twc apps on my phone and everything works.

Twitch.TV streaming issues (Since Oct '12) - Melbourne, KY

Does anyone else in the northern KY have any issues with Twitch.TV? I used to be able to stream 1080p streams without a hitch (50/5 service which I get 100% speed most days) however I am unable to watch anything above 480p (and that's iffy everyday having to resort to 360p) unless the moon is aligned with every planet [Pluto is still a planet imo!] in our solar system.

I keep hearing about possible throttling however youtube seems to run just fine 95% of the time and it's only Twitch that just cannot keep up with the CDN I'm forced onto. No amount of DNS changes help either be it Google, OpenDNS, etc. I've also did the tweaks that are floating around for TWC customers just in case; no dice.
