[Speed] Bowling Green, Ky - download in the garbage

I have the 20MB service but for the last week it has recored speeds of 5MB to 16MB in the evenings. During the daylight hours I can achieve 20MB. I have called support 5 times now since last Wednesday a week ago. They first told me that my modem was bad. service came next day and confirmed as far as he knew without checking anything inside or outside. He stated that he does not carry modems. I went to BB and bought motorola surfboard and placed it in line-call to register mac. At that time my speeds were the same down speed of 5MB to 12MB. Called support for the 3rd time and they had me power up/down modem and router with same poor results. They scheduled a service call for last Friday 7 to 7. They didn't show. Called again on Monday this week-They were extremely sorry and promised that the problem would be corrected-service rep stated that it looked as if the problem was outside the house. They scheduled appt for this past Tuesday and guess what they didn't show again. Called support with same BS promised that they would call sometime today about the problem. Well it has been 24 hrs and no contact. I am getting tired of talking w/support and no results. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Sorry for the length but this is short as I could share it b/c of the multiple issues

[CATV] HD pak Louisville, KY

I can't be the only one who thinks ten dollars for four channels is a bit much. If the Smithsonian channel and the NHL Network were added, I'd add the HD pak in a heartbeat. Seems to me if Insight added a sports channel and a general interest channel into the mix, they'd have a lot more people showing interest.

What HD channels could be added that would make you add the HD pak?

[DVR] err code-4?

I have motorola DCT6416 III hd/dvr box and now when I try to access ondemand I get a error retrieving data err-4. I have get a please wait one moment on some channels like fit tv, espn classic and a few others I can't remember right off the top of my head. I had 2 techs out and the problem started again. I'm tired of calling insight about this issue. Seems like the people that come out don't know too much about problems like this. One said the signal wasn't strong enough and said he was going to try to make it stronger. Anyone know how I can check the signal of the cable from the box? I'm to the point that I'm thinking of going somewhere else for cable.

[CATV] MLB hitting up fans to contact Insight to get MLB Network

I just got an email from MLB asking Insight customers to contact Insight and ask them to add MLB Network to their channel lineup. Wilner has already commented on MLB Network and how they have simply been unable to come to terms with them. Interesting the new tactic that MLB is apparently now taking...

Prices for Insight services

Has anyone ever found a website with all of the prices for various insight services listed? I've found several websites, each one formatted differently showing various prices but nowhere have I ever found a complete listing of all the various packages available. When you call them it even gets more confusing as they keep trying to sell your packages etc. All I want is a basic price sheet for each group of channel options. It sounds simple but it isn't.

[DVR] Multiple cable channels are messed up. Louisville, KY

Hey all, quick question. Is anyone else having serious problems with their cable right now? I am trying to watch Adult Swim, and although a show is playing, the screen is full of blocks and pixelation. The sound is also cutting in and out. These problems apply to random standard definition channels, and almost all HD channels (and yes I have tried turning the DVR off and on).

I have had this problem multiple times in the last few weeks, and I am curious if anyone else is having these issues?

[Equipment] [cable/set-top box]Subscriber Owned Cable/Set-Top Bo

I have a Motorola DCT6200 series set-top that I purchased from Comcast when I was their sub following the FCC's mandate regarding making set-tops available to subs. When I requested Insight to activate it they stated flat-out that it was incompatible with their system before I could even give the model. I persisted with the exact model and that it is identical to the non-DVR HD set-up they currently put in the home but the CSR still insisted its incompatibility. What gives? We know it will work and so do they and even when they're required to sell boxes or cards they then play dumb. How can I get around this?
