Are there some sites that block FF from it being able to save login information? I am trying to do it with my webmail at school and it never gives me the option, and I checked to see if it was in the never allow folder and it isn't. Any Ideas?

Hi,

FF3.0.1 today crashes repeatedly after I updated the 2 extensions called Gmail Notifier and NoScript. Disabling or uninstalling these 2 extensions did not help at all. My PC is WinXP SP3.

Any suggestions to fix this problem?

Thanks.

[FireFox] How do you remove the drop down box?

I downloaded FireFox 3 and although it still has fast speed if not faster and a somewhat nicer look. This drop down box from the address bar is driving me nuts. I took a similar one out of FireFox 2 but on FireFox 3 I am not finding an option under preferences. I am about to drop it and go download Opera but I thought I would come and ask and see if there is a quick fix or if somehow I managed to miss the option after all that searching in preferences.

Mozilla SSL policy bad for the Web

said by http://www.cs.uml.edu/~ntuck/mozilla/ :

When a Firefox 3 user visits an encrypted web site with a self-signed certificate or a certificate signed by an unapproved (new or non-profit) provider, Firefox doesn’t show the page. Instead, it shows a scary "you are being hacked"-style warning that requires 4 clicks and an "add an exception" dialog box to bypass.
...
This is really an issue of the basic principles of internet openness. Everyone has equal access to the features of HTTP or SSH, there’s no reason why there should be artifical constraints on access to HTTPS. But that’s exactly what the Firefox SSL behavior does. His argument sounds reasonable to me.

Firefox + Flashblock

I have yet to find a homepage I like better than att.my.yahoo.com but I can no longer stand the large "in your face" flash animations that appear on every page (yes, I am aware that Yahoo needs to sell ads).

I have always used IE as my browser but I am considering trying Firefox as I see they have a Flashblock extension available.

Are there any drawbacks when it comes to using FF+FB. I don't like to install software and then later remove it if I can avoid doing so. Therefore, I covet your opinions and expertise.
