WNDR3700 and no 130Mbps Connection

Just dropped a new 3700 into my home network and my laptop will only connect to it at 54Mbps or slower. It connects at 130Mbps to the old Dlink 655 just fine.

I have tried setting the mode in wireless to 130Mbps and 300Mbps with no luck. Stuck at 54Mbps :(

For testing purposes there is no encryption setup on the wireless.

Am I missing something in the setup?

So my dgl-4300 is dieing, Should I buy the wndr3700?

My router is going out and I need a good replacement. I currently run on my network:

2 wired desktops
1 wireless desktop
1 laptop
wireless xbox360
wireless wii

I really want it for my 360 gaming in hope of not have lag, and for 150 bucks it doesn't look like there is one much better. Is this the best for this price range? also what is close that could compare? I plan on making the purchase later today or whichever I decide.. SO PLEASE HELP! :)

Thanks in advance,

WNR 1000 dropouts

I have a Netgear WNR 1000, N150 wireless router connected to a Cable Modem and a MAC running OS 10.6.1. Basically the router works just fine with the exception that maybe once sometimes twice during the day it just quits.

I then have either to reboot the router by unplugging the power and plugging it back in or by pushing the power on/off push-button on the back panel.

What could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RT314 + FS105 v2 = Problem

My vintage RT314 has been working great, but I needed to add a few more ports. I picked up a FS105 v2 thinking all I needed to do was plug it in correctly. I tried two different machines off of the FS105 and both either time out when trying to connect to a web site or it takes forever to connect. I have an vintage EN104 hub that works fine to extend the RT314 but the FS105 switch is not happy. I've tried different ports off the RT314, different cables, no joy.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Absolutely no problems since install yesterday. Running both wireless radios, bt, games, os updates, excellent speed wan-to-lan.

Great job Netgear, it was worth the wait!
