@sprintlink.net | Good
Good, the timing is right. They were in the top 10 ever since they ran for brand recognition and they served their purpose. Now it's time for a different approach. |

I guess it is time, but the PP is right, they served their purpose. I rather liked them. It's refreshing to see an ad that isn't completely stupid for a change. |

| said by hottboiinnc :i was surprised to see a CEO even do that and think other companies should do that. i don't know about that. A candid message by Rick Wagoner from GM might result in quite a few broken TVs. I think for Sprint it worked. It seemed to take them out of the penny stock category. If they were smart they'd build on it by a policy such as getting rid of ETFs and lowering plan pricing during this economic downturn. |

Now they need to finish the job by getting rid of the CEO. |

Perfect timing indeed. I've been sick of those commercials for a little while now. Glad to see Hesse is in touch with reality (unlike so many other ceo's). |

wouldn't that help the economy? all the broken tv's and devices thrown at them would need to be repurchased, which would pump money back into sales *lol* |

| I agree.
These ads weren't 'bad', however, they didn't move me to want to purchase any service. They appeared almost depressing. Not that I'm in an sort of Ad agency or anything, but being that its spring time, black and white corporate Ad aren't appealing to me right now. |

| reply to S_engineer if they lowered pricing and got rid of the ETFs all together it would work for them. They need to do a flat rate service plan that is about the same as Boost and all the rest. That would build their customer base up. That would also save the money that it costs on the paper, ink, postage, and everything that mounts up to printing all those bills.
But yes with GM or any of the 3 big. |

Great timing..I actually thought the ads were well done but am also getting tired of them.
I have AT&T right now and my g/f has Verizon and between the 2 of us we can at least $180 a month for cell service. I have a few friends that have Sprint and really like them and their coverage where I live.
I checked the prices on combining our service with unlimited data and txting and Spring clearly is the cheaper choice so I may just give them a shot.. |

They would rocket to the head of the pack if they release their old SERO plan to everyone...what they lost in cost they would make up for in volume 20x over. |

So, a Sprint Employee Referral Offer should be just made standard to everyone? .. automatically?
If you put your deep discounts out, where else do you have to go with offers later? SERO was never the price of the service.. it was a tool for employees to get customers through the door themselves.
Sorry, I disagree, it certainly would be death to the company.. or ANY company that did that. |

| true. They should do flat rate services $50 for unlimited everything.
Sprint has the power to change the way everyone does business and they should. They brought out the unlimited plans for $99 and then everyone dropped them--except Sprint still has them... if Sprint picked up US Cellular they'd have more power. It's just getting the niche that would change everything. Boost Unlimited has done it on that side now sprint needs to do it there.
Or do TM thing- GET RID OF CONTRACTS! |
