Once again, Comcast says they'll upgrade 65% of their footprint by the end of this year, and 100% by the end of 2010. TWC in 2009: 0% TWC in 2010: unknown. Probably 0% though. -- "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" |

AT&T is rolling out U-Verse. Why don't these companies take initiative instead of reaction? |

was hoping to see salt lake market on that list. I know they've been upgrading the ctms' over the last several weeks in the region.
Oh well what can we expect since the only competition here is qwest which is usually 1.5 dsl. Utah just barely got Blast!. Every day broadband users in utah wish they lived in a utopia city. |

Here, there is no AT&T Uverse or Verizon anything. Comcast lit me up with Blast anyways.

I signed up for notification of the docsis 3 service and got an email from Comcast it is in my area a week ago. But no change yet doubling the standard speeds from 6/1 to 12/2.
You can check here: »www.comcast.com/fastestfast/ Plug in zip code
And I get this when I check. »www.comcast.com/fastestfast/nowa···ble.html
But I still don't see the new speeds. |

Would be nice if they announced something regarding south Florida or even just S of Jacksonville. This is prime Uverse territory, not to mention FiOS is dominant in the Tampa Bay/St. Pete area - seems like the whole S FL area is ideal deployment grounds for D3... |

AFAIK, most central PA 750 MHz systems (Lanc. Co included) should get D3 by 4Q this year. Or so I really, really hope |

Isn't competition a great thing? Chattanooga (where I'm from) is a relatively small market for both Comcast and AT&T, yet they are high on the list of the Uverse and DOCSIS 3 rollouts. I wonder why? Could it be a municipal fiber rollout? Chattanooga Electric Power Board is rolling out fiber optic to its whole installed customer base (160,000 customers) in the next 3 years. Would Chattanooga be getting this attention if there was no competition? -- If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. 3/31/09- 5 additional Chicago sites targeted to launch... They announced deployment in Chicago in Dec.. So far nobody within the city limits has it. So when they say "5 additional Chicago sites", do they mean more Chicago suburbs or are the actually going to venture into the city that they claim is getting the deployment? -- "When I was in junior high school, the teachers voted me the student most likely to end up in the electric chair."---Sylvestor Stallone |

So where do we fit in? Denver is a pretty huge market and is a bit of a network hub for Comcast, yet still has DOCSIS 1.1 speeds to my knowledge in the whole city.
In short, when're we getting the upgrade? Additionally, will Golden (a bit to the west) get an upgrade similarly time-wise? |
