I mean really? I type a site, it gets blocked, I write it down. I get another site that is blocked, write it down. Before long I have a list of the sites being blocked. How is this really secret information?

The Internet, being the mostly free medium that it is, will simply migrate the information to another site. So what if you can get Wikileaks.de shut down, how are you going to manage that in a country with less stringent censorship laws? It only takes one site that is not censored to render this entire discussion meaningless. |

Yep. The reason they want the list secret is so people won't know when they slip things onto the list that shouldn't be there---- websites critical of the Government or exposing powerful corporations; websites of political activists, etc etc

the next guy however is deprived of said site can not know and thus is an ignorant
