| Verizon and iPhone OK everyone. We all know that everyone has a beef with at least one wireless carrier or another (I'm no exception). I would have considered leaving Verizon for iPhone at AT&T, BUT... after the public relations this week, I'm annoyed to the point where I'm going to wait. I have Verizon today (just a cell phone) and have a year to go on my contract (yes, I was willing to pay for early termination to get an iPhone).
Now, I'm going to wait. Verizon coverage in my area is better than any other major carrier and they'll probably be the first with 4G (which the tested in my area already). With all that, I'm really hoping that they work out a new 4G iPhone in time for my upgrade switch next year. | |

| Ernestine Strikes Back No surprise here. AT&T's motto is still, "We're the Phone Company. We don't care. We don't have to!"
I just spent three months trying to get my billing straigtened out with this misbegotten monopoly. In the end it took a certified letter to the CEO before their customer no-service people would lift a finger to fix a multitude of problems they themselves had caused.
