Sitting in front of the computer feeling sorry for myself (ie...lack of work,etc).
The phone rings and it's some consulting company that saw my resume online.
I'm going to be installing some new time card thingy that's attached to a computer. Hey it's not f/t, semi p/t I guess but it's money and it sure beats sitting at home sending out endless resumes and waiting for the phone to ring.

That is very good news, perhaps the start of an upswing of better luck for you. Also, these jobs are often "try/buy" and if you do a really good job, they might:
1. consider using you regularly for other jobs they land
2. offer you full time work or help you network to get work elsewhere.
Make your work so perfect and stellar that they talk about you.

Being unemployed stinks (especially in the north east where everything is super expensive...food/rent/etc)...so this little job will at least put some money in my pocket and hopefully lead to bigger and better things.

First I found chex quest 3 online. B4 I post the link I will give you some history about chex quest. It was made in 1996 and given out in boxes of chex, if was a great game if you have not played it yet I suggest you download it. In 1997 chex quest 2 came out, it was just as good as the first IMHO, but the first level had one glitch(it was fixed in CQ3 don't worry), a demo of CQ3 was on the site and a thing about CQ4(never released) a few years later the company that made chex quest went out of business.... Chex quest 3 was never finished, a fan made one came out in 1988 but it had LOT(if not all) of stuff stolen from various other .wads. and did a LOT of damage to CQ's rep. In june of 08 chex quest 3 was announced by Charles Jacobi(he name is also the no clip mode cheat for all 3 games) it was released in Sep of 08,It also includes improved(graphically) versions of Chex Quest and Chex Quest 2. you can down load it here
