Does like every store when you go to check out ask if you have a reward card or a store credit card? I mean I can understand the reward card, like with bestbuy where you get money back or gamestop where you get 10% off used games, but why all the credit cards? Isn't living on credit part of what got us to where we are? |

| AT&T Wireless Broadband Rationing Bandwidth?
I have an application that requires pretty much 24/7 connection to the Internet VIA cellular broadband. AT&T deployments VIA the Mercury USB radio have pretty much been falling on their face. Not a great deal of bandwidth but requires a stable connection.
Our application does a warm reboot in the early morning hours, something that seems to fix our primary carrier's connection (Sprint) should it have problems (a few).
My thought's are that since it is a warm reboot and the USB radio does not power off that the pipe to our radio is shut off since it appears that the IP addy does not change? Do a search at DSL Reports' of AT&T's wireless drought and that makes sense to me.
I am going to do more testing this weekend on my laptop to try and figure out what the heck is going on.
Any of you genius' here have an answer? |

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile loses control, crashes into Racine home
Neighbors tell FOX 6 the Wienermobile took a wrong turn and ended up on the dead-end street, Kenilworth Avenue in Racine.
While trying to get turned around, the woman driving the hot dog on wheels accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and lodged the Wienermobile under a house.

I tried out Virtual Box in ubuntu 9.04, I now have windows XP running in it. I've been experimenting with different linux distros, etc. I'm going to run the windows 7 beta in it, once my memory upgrade comes. (believe it or not I'm running on 512) But I want more ideas of what different OS's I can download and run in virtual box, you know just for the geek fun of it. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Living on "credit" is actually pretty nice. See, they aren't "credit" cards. Oh, the banks may call them that, but I never got credit anywhere I used them. Only time I get credit is when I return something that has no refund policy and the store gives me store credit instead. Now they OWE ME money, that's "credit"! Let's quit playing into the hands of banks and call them what they really are: "CHARGE Cards" |
