quote: Virgin Media will trial deep packet inspection technology to measure the level of illegal filesharing on its network, but plans not to tell the customers whose traffic will be examined.
Looking into packets to determine what is being downloaded, not just what is being used to download.
They are also trialling 10Mbps upstream on their 50Mbps product but this will probably get some more headlines

| | A working holiday I'm moving a herd of cattle to different pastures this holiday.
Its 11 PM and I'm sitting by a campfire. Its 40 degrees out. I have dual batteries in my diesel truck, Sprint 3G card and wireless router, and three dogs and boyfriend to keep me warm tonight in the tent. I'm an hour east of Oklahoma City, so the night is very dark and I can see lots of stars.
Life is good. | |

I'm def going to stay the hell away from any retail stores with the people killing each other for useless junk that will be the same price in a few months and they'll smack themselves in the forehead -- The Internet is about to go down....it is actually.

| Re: whats your favaroite dish besides turkey on thanksgiving Around here, Thanksgiving food falls into generally accepted categories. There's always some variance, but if you are expecting Thanksgiving Day food, here's what you can typically expect to find around here:
Turkey, (Fried Turkey getting more common too) Ham, (Turkey by far most common), Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Corn, Green Bean casserole, Broccoli and Rice Casserole, Dinner rolls, white and turkey gravy, Cranberry jelly, Deviled eggs, Mac n Cheese, Pies (Pumpkin the most common, followed by Sweet Potato Pie then every other kind of pie), Banana pudding, cool whip.
Like I said there's variances, some substitutions and deletions but the above list is pretty much the type of stuff you can expect to find. Ironically salad, which is big at dinners normally, is fairly scarce or rare at Thanksgiving dinners. Casseroles are plentiful.
It's just darn good eating all around, really family food. -- "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini
