Granted McD's isn't the first place I'd consider going if I wanted browse the Intertubes away from home, but whenever I get work done on my car, there's a Mickey D's right next to the shop. I'll buy a coffee and sit in an unobtrusive part of the restaurant.
Since I work nights and prefer to hit the auto shop right when they open at 7 am, I can quietly watch people go about their morning routine while my car is being serviced.
And, so far, I've been able to use the only accessible electrical outlet without any hassle. Overall, it's kind of nice.

| plastic? I haven't seen plastic in a McDonalds in years... at least in our area they remodeled them all to look more like a fancy resturant with soft leather seats, warm earth tone colors and much better looking decor... the plastic seats of the old days are long gone within 100 miles of me | |
