anyone who thinks this will save them money is a fool... havent you ever heard of "bulk discounts"? As soon as you start paying a la carte, you will see that you actually end up paying MORE for the channels
I don't think AppleTV will offer Live Cable Channels
Story is based on the premise that Apple plans to offer live feeds of cable channels. From my interpretation, that is not what is being speculated. Instead, what is being said is that Apple is trying to get agreements to redistribute certain programs on-demand. So, the Apple TV subscription model would be comparable to Roku/Netflix or something like Hulu on a set-top box.
