Clueless

"Just call and they will credit you the $1.99 fee. I've called a few times and they didn't even question it and just credited it back."

So you are saying paying customers should have to jump through hoops, waste their time and play games each month because a company wants to charge phantom fees? You honestly think this is how business should be done? No wonder the customer experience continues to suck. Almost all of you continue to accept being treated like crap.

People with your flip attitude really make me want to get violent. Yes lucky for many that it isn't legal for me to get away with pulling a Jay & Silent Bob.

Then again there are probably many of you who say - oh it's just a $1.99 not worth the hassle. This is just as bad as playing jump through the rings. In the end neither way solves these corporate behavioral problems.

This is retarded, I have an old Verizon smart phone, and i didn't feel like shelling out $45 a month for data so I chose the pay as you go $15 a megabyte option, I'm leaving as soon as my contract expires now.

This is absurd

I want to switch from Sprint to Verizon later this year due to the disappointing Sprint service here as compared to what Verizon has. I wanted to get the Motorola Rival slider for text messaging, but it's a 3G Multimedia phone (it connects to EVDO and it has a camera, that would be 3G Multimedia, I believe...). The fact that I have to pay $9.99 a month for 25MB of data I don't even want is aggravating. Such mandatory data plans should not be legal! This is why I'm for more rather than less regulation - look what they do with less!

Send VZW feedback like I just did

I told them that I can guarantee that my family will move to another provider if I am forced to buy data plans for the childrens' camera/texting phones. Currently data is blocked on those phones for a good reason, and I am not going to pay $9.99/month for each blocked phone.
