Yep, the same home town that Cisco is based on, and touting "Cisco changes the universe and mankind forever". I'm wondering if Cisco is in a different universe? or different town?

| price? Yeah, well.. imagine an actual CONSUMER GRADE product somewhere in the 1-30 Terabits.. not the 322 that the commercial grade product is capable of, and at a MUCH higher EARLY ADOPTER price than even today's 1-10gigabit routers... sure, more speed and a much higher price tag..say 10x the current equipment prices for gigabit-- sound fair right?
Well, translate that greed into the last mile ISP tiers that would support such bandwidth and you have a recipe for a market that WON'T EXIST... in reality or fantasy land.
A REAL GAME CHANGER would be that isps have gotten over their gate keeping greed in the video service provider arena and will provide consumers with ever increasing value of broadband and the video/phone services become value added secondry and terciary factors (aka DIRT CHEAP). The first wave will come when we see 100/100 megabits in the residential market become a mass consumer product which will be somewhat under $100/monthy TRULY UNLIMITED with no strings attached... NO ACTIVATION FEES, INSTALLATION FEES, EQUIPMENT FEES, BILLING FEES, SURCHARGES, TAXES, REQUIRED CONTRACT, ETC.
