why is this such a big deal my 3g

blackberry since getting it 8 mths ago gets crappy reception, drops calls and randomly reboots.

So why all of the special attention for the iPhone customers?

Welcome to the 97% coverage, that is we cover 97% of the folks in the world by offering a product. This does not mean 97% reception of signal al across the US!

Can anybody say Stockholm syndrome?

They are trapped with AT&T exclusivity and many refuse to see any flaws in anything Apple related (ie. don't hold it that way) so of course they're going to put AT&T in a positive light. I think the fact that iPhone users are more satisfied than other AT&T customers (why would they be other than their adoration for the phone itself?) speaks for itself.

Most are probably like me and love the iPhone

and its features but are absolutely disgusted with the terrible AT&T service

So, if someone asks me if I am satisfied I say yes....but more b/c of the phone and NOT whatsoever b/c of the terrible service
