For about 20+ years now we have been losing freedoms...Its time to wake the eff up and vote out the congress in charge of such things handing so much power to the government, and taking away rights from citizens - faster and faster.
*DMCA - Clinton *Absurd Software Patent Laws Bush/Clinton/Bush Jr. *Wiretapping of phones Bush Jr./Obama *Wiretapping of Internet/Cell Phones/Data transmissions Obama *Foreign Land Assassinations of American Citizens suspected of terrorism - Obama *Laws allow videoing everyone but cops *Government controlled / accessible video cameras throughout USA Bush/Clinton/Bush Jr/Obama *Patriot Act - Bush
Much of this is done in the name of saving us from terrorism, but the truth is its greed/power/control/business influence (read lobbyists)
The real culprit here though is Congress not balancing out the power of the White House's executive orders, and Congress's own idiot law makers, and the Judicial system's inability to fight because either of subject ignorance or political fears - or just plain bias.
We (the world, and the USA) are losing our freedom, privacy, and the government is increasingly getting more power over us, and taking more money in taxes - in effect making us slave laborers.
Wake up America - its time to vote people into Congress, and into the White House that will give us some of these back. Its not Democrats vs Republics - the whole fricken batch of fish is dead and rotting, with a putrid smell.
Here in the USA we are especially dumb that we go Republican or Democrat even though in reality both parties are distasteful in some ways. You may like help with health care, but be against abortions -or you may like lower taxes and be more pro-business - but hate the Patriot act and the Iran/Iraq wars.
It is time we, the world, and here in the USA especially start to redefine what truly we want and not drink poison mixed with koolaid, which both parties are offering - and in the end - we don't get the best of the best - we are getting the worst of the worst.
Were still in a recession, so many without jobs, but because elections are coming up - the recession is declared over. /sarcasm Good going Democrats. Republican's blocked net-neutrality - Good going GOP. /end sarcasm.
Seriously - its time we fix this mess and somehow find a way to get people in that will not stick to the old ideas of what a democrat is or what a republican is - and be proud of America rather than constantly apologizing for us.
The old "leadership" in both parties need to be voted out of Congress this election. We need fresh blood, and not double talk that says "well work together" and then forces change the country's majority doesn't want.
It's time to rock the boat people and get involved - or a few years from now it will be too late for our freedoms / privacy and the Constitution will be used for toilet paper in the White House /Congress and the Supreme court will just do their bidding.
Hell I bet the majority of American's don't even know the Constitution off-hand without looking it up. Don't get me started on the school's education system and textbooks where its ok to teach about homosexual relationships being a normal thing for every child to experiment with and mention Muslims in positive ways more than 20 times in books without a mention of Christianity.
There is a third war going on - and that is a war to change cultures around the world, and create socialistic governments pretending to be democratic (Just look at Ecuador's news in the last two days).
Enough is enough. Come out and vote next month and let's send a message - that we are tired of it (Congress has a 21% approval rating) and we (at least in USA) can change it, and will change it, since they are not hearing us and not representing us.
In the end, they are not there to be our King, or our Royalty, but to represent us, Americans, and to protect our cultures, and to protect our freedoms. Yet this is NOT what they are doing now, although most aren't paying enough attention to even notice, much less care. |
