 | Love Hate TimeWarner and I have a love hate relationship. For the most part, I love to hate them. However, you have to give them credit for attempting to "stick" it to the broadcasters. Anything that moves us toward more viewing options is a good thing in my book. |

Hey, broadcasters, you should really read the above comment instead of immediately bashing new technologies. Did anyone learn about that last decade? Guess not.

This is a money grab, and nothing more.
When AT&T realized that it could change to tiered data plans instead of unlimited plans, it didn't make this change to save people money. It was done to more effectively monetize data usage.
No content provider or company has ever done anything to save people money. -- "We're going to start at one end of (Fallujah), and we're not going to stop until we get to the other. | The ONLY good Fox content is their soccer coverage IMO, but if they want to dictate how many screens I can watch on in my own house over my connection....well then...they're more than welcome to KMA. |

Especially given the restrictions already placed on the content by the carrier, i.e. only your home net connection etc.....
Perhaps this app is threat to hulu+ . |

 | Loss of Revenue Okay networks, I will not see your commercials or your programs. That means, my money will go to more progressive organizations.

Perhaps this app is threat to hulu+ . It is not different in any way at all Period.
its just that the content owners cannot force a cable company to drop analog so they cant stop extra TV sets.
Trust me if the MAFIAA had their way they would get a cut of each extra box rental too. -- [65 Arcanist]Filan(High Elf) Zone: Broadband Reports |

Re: Love Hate I feel the same way about Time Warner. I recently haven't been liking them for raising my darn rates again, but they seem to be one of the few providers that push back at broadcasters. They did the same when there were possible channel drops. |
|
 | You Lose I've been using the iPad TW Cable app while on the treadmill. Now those broadcasters have totally cut themselves out of the possibility of my viewership during that time. That's one hour a day that I'll be watching a different channel. |
