can't do the rooftop dish

I just can't do the big dish thing. I would willingly attach a small one to a window sill (wasn't that promised at some point by someone?). I long for the day when I can put a worthy competitor up against Comcast as a way to negotiate. FIOS will never come to my town, so satellite is my only hope, I guess.

Presuming it works as billed...

(which is always the real question), I expect it will be an excellent alternative to having nothing at all.

VOD and Blockbuster streaming on a 12GB cap? NO WAY!

Not understanding HOW they will bundle this . . .

Speaking of VOD and Blockbuster streaming . . . . .

Doing all this with a 12GB cap (assuming they're bundling the highest package---but most likely not)...

I see this backfiring quick............

What about Hughesnet?

I don't understand why Dish Network is working with Wild Blue? Aren't they related with Hughesnet? I mean Echostar and Dish have basically the same ownership. Why help out the competition?

Re: Bundles????????Caps?????

People DO care about rural customers, that's why you have at least 1 option. Keep in mind how much it costs to build and maintain a network vs how much revenue they will take in from it. Out in the rural areas, it doesn't make financial sense so therefore you guys get worse products at a higher price. If you want better products, don't move so far out from the city.
