Only thing that will make AT&T change its ways is better pricing by its competitors that makes people leave. |

If we must have caps, then I will still object to not being able to use data in ways I wish to, such as tethering. Do they disable all of those features on the phones that have caps? You do have the ability to do it, but if you are caught doing it you get pushed into a tethering plan. That plan just charges you more money for the same bytes. -- "Net Neutrality" zealots - the people you can thank for your capped Internet service. |

 | reply to Jmartz How do you do that without a tethering plan? Is your device jail broken. I am not able to tether unless I have a plan which I currently do with Verizon. I tether my iPhone to my iPad to save 10.00 versus having a separate iPad 3G plan. |

| times like these ..I'm glad to be on little U.S. Cellular with 5GB/mo. and a droid that isn't as locked down.
Sure, I rarely use more than slightly over 2GB/mo, but I like not having to worry.
3-4GB/mo should be minimum standard. 2GB is right at that limit where they KNOW people will cross it. |

Re: Yawn... They do give you 2GB of extra data for the tethering plans, which comes out to be the same rate as their overage fees, at $10/GB. |

VanPremium join:2009-07-08 New Orleans, LA | This is where Verizon tells people that anyone using over their caps is KILLING THE NETWORK and HURTING OTHERS.
Oh, except if you pay a little more...you can use more....oh, and we won't ever actually explain HOW they hurt the network.
But trust Verizon & AT&T, they do! |
