IPv4 Going Down So, why exactly is it that some providers still hand out public IPv4 addresses?
My cable provider hands out a 'dynamic' public IP (either in the 173.x.x.x. range or the 75.x.x.x range).
Since, obviously IPv4 is getting to be a problem (we're going to HAVE to move to v6 SOMETIME), why can some places have public addresses and not others?
AT&T is very stupid for doing what they've done now.
