Just what the doctor ordered

This is precisely the kind of technology that's needed to fill the ever increasing communications needs of today. There's no need to be using up any more RF spectrum than necessary. You can only buy/sit on so much of it.

The only glitch I see is the back haul. Then again, if it's inside of buildings and in downtown metro areas, maybe that's not an issue.

I suspect that this is the direction Verizon will go for a fixed LTE build out to take over where FIOS deployment stopped. Backhaul will have to be fiber... no getting around that for now.

they can use Microwave, which is what Clear uses in spots along with other companies- still.

and fiber- easy to get in neighborhoods- but Sprint may have killed that option when they decided to sue their fiber partner- the MSOs.
