At least it is rolling out over a month. Comcast roll outs take a couple years or longer for TV changes.
I think cablevision has maybe 3 or 4 headends compared to the labyrinth that is comcast; that probably makes it a bit easier to finish in 30 days.
A lot more than that.
The New Guide
The new guide/setup is horrible. Superrr confusing display being that for some reason someone had a great idea of putting the channel # and name smack in the middle of the show listing guide, barely any info on tv shows such as what is going on in a given episode, and the lag is HORRIBLE. My DVR will freeze up for a minute or 2 at a time while doing the simplest task of flipping though pages of channels. I have a feeling once every customer gets this update I won't be the only one saying these comments. I've left my email so anyone from Cablevision can contact me regarding my comments.

And there are complaints about the dark color and tiny font size being difficult to read for seniors.
with this new setup we cant record anything. anyone else have the same problem?
I am having the same issue - cant record anything now with the new guide.
It worked for a day or so...now if I hit the guide button..all entries are blank....info button does nothing....can't record anything.
Its horrible. Buggy, annoying, confusing.. its HORRIBLE.
