Re: Hmm, does not read right From what I can see on Walmart's site ( »www.walmart.com/ip/Email-Deliver···ethod=rr ), it looks like you can choose the "Go Big" option and get 4GB that doesn't expire if you use it at least once in a 12 month timespan, or the "Go Bigger" plan and get 8GB of data that expires in 30 days. Either option costs $45.
They also have a "Go Big" never expiring 1.5GB/"Go Bigger" 30 day expiring 3GB option for $25.

You think Verizon would sell access to its network at low enough rates to allow for that kind of plan? Over its dead, cold body.
For areas where Sprint works well/well enough (a fair chunk of the US...Sprint has more coverage than T-Mobile, for example), this plan is a good thing, though I won't be getting it since I already have a Sprint phone that can tether. |

I think $10 is a ripoff! Verizon charges $50 for 1 GB. That's 5X a ripoff.
Imagine if cable rates were like that. Let's see, if you used somewhere around where Comcast's cap was (300GB), you'd be paying $3000 per month. |

Contrary to the usual thumping that "data is data", a wireless gigabyte without a recurring monthly fee is certainly worth a lot more than one that expires in 30 days.
In this case, you're paying $11.25/GB to "own" it.
If your needs are sporadic (like mine), that's not a bad rate compared to renting expiring GB's at $5/month or more. |

Washington, DC | I really like buying data transfer that doesn't expire There's a VPN service I use while travelling, where you buy so many Gigabytes for a fixed price, and you can use it whenever you want. I still haven't ran out after a year.

Re: Deceiving Offer. You have the choice of two plans, i received mine today and i am very happy. i will pay $45 for 4gb which does not expire. The free 3gb starts after your initial plan runs out of data and will last 30 days. once it expires you can go back on a plan which does not expire |

Go a few miles away like some friends of mine live where cable doesn't exist and TDS or at&t doesn't think DSL is worth deploying. |
