So if Belkin is bad and Linksys is going to be bad.

Who would you say would be the best alternative company and in what order would you rate them?

Asus ?

Netgear ?

D-Link ?

please list them in order of who you think is best and so on.

Thanks

Belkin isn't that bad..

You just have to have one that will flash dd-wrt or OpenWrt. My Bro-in-law's Belkin F5D8235-4v2 works awesome since I flashed it with dd-wrt.

Most of the issues aren't with the hardware, it's with the software.

Bye belkin

I hate Belkin. I had to deal with a P.O.S. Belkin Router for years that disconnected constantly and it had major issues with XBox live. uPNP did nothing and even setting DMZ didn't even help. Good luck trying to connect more than 1 xbox wireless to that router. Finally upgraded to ASUS and wow it works flawlessly with all my wifi products straight out the box. Granted the Belkin was pretty damn old but still.
