Re: 6 strikes starts Monday & rolls out to ISPs all week
said by MJB:It is a voluntary pgm, so it would be strictly up to the individual ISPs if they wanted to take part.

i know that rogers and bell might hop on board
I will be perfectly happy if the budget cuts specified in the Budget Control Act go into effect. 3 cheers for the sequester. Take the money from the drunken federal spenders.

Re: Divide between European and U.S. telcos widens
It's obvious. "A overcrowded market". Translation: They actually have competition. The EU telecoms have lots of competition, the US ones don't.
Why is it surprising the US ones are "Rich"? Because we're making them so. They are bending us over, and making fat profits.
This is by no means "Good" for us US consumers.
"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini
Yes, but notice with the exception of Scandinavia and Central Europe, Europe has been slow in adopting 4G LTE.
As for bending over customers, that wouldn't be too much of the issue if we had consistent service, but we pay not only more but pay more for less service.
Even Canada has more consistent 3g/4g coverage especially in more rural areas. That isn't so for States especially in Midwest.
Europe has it's own problems too. Look at gas prices there.

They will never penetrate the New England market. New England is Dunkin's home turf.
Krispy Kreme has tried and failed.
Saw one open in CT somewhere once, was on a very busy road. lasted a year, closed, replaced by a Dunkins.
As for the movie rant...
It is Hollywood, Hollywood can many times forget there is a world outside of Southern California.
I think you meant they have never had a clue outside of their own deluded pretend reality to the point they are not even in the same century as we are.
