Clarksville, TN | Moving on up! ...To the east side. I've been at my new job for about a year and a half now. I passed my first quarterly evaluation, and have received praise from my managers. Unfortunately my Chevy S-10 died on me. So I had to get a new ride. Since the job is going so well, I decided to go all out and get a real ride. I give to you the 2013 Toyota Tundra. I call it Wonder-Truck. I love this thing more than life itself.
I got a fairly good deal on it as well so I have no complaints.
Tell me what you think.
Oh I also realized something typing this message. I live in an apartment on the east side of town. |

I can barely get videos to load. I am wondering if the issue is on YouTube's end or am issue with Comcast (such as throttling). |

| Bought a Jambox today Best Buy @ Holyoke Mall had the Jambox on sale for $129.99 and I had $15 in RewardZone certificate (I am a high roller there as I buy most of my gadgets at Best Buy and I have premiere silver status with Reward Zone).
They only had one left and it was in the plastic packaging. It has some cosmetic damage so I may exchange it. It is a nice addition to my gadget corner. It has the sound output of the huge Sony CD Player Boombox that I bought in 1998.

I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner. They are much better than broadcast TV.
I have not and will not cut the cord. |

Did you happen to see this thread? Thought it might help explain some things » Why Is Everyone Having YouTube Streaming Issues? I did see the thread. There's so much conflicting information on that thread. That is why I'd like the opinion of a professional networking engineer (someone with an engineering degree as there might be someone on this forum that is an engineer) that gives a clear and concise answer to what the issue is.

The past few years have been rough. Lost a PT job I had to political bullshit, said fuck it, started a business in August & I'm all ready turning a profit (nothing huge, about $100 a week or so). I have a line on a new PT job in the same line of work I was doing before, only $5 more an hour.
And, I'm 10 years from pensioning out with my health insurance at 50 at my full time job.
No one entering today's job market is lining all that up. Been a rough couple years, and my pay kinda sucks, but it's better than being unemployed.
All & all, I'm happier to be 40 than I was to be 30. The best it yet to come...
PS, did I mention I've never been married & I have no kids (that I know of, except for my "fur kids" 2 cats)....

| Quicken Sucks Updating mine from v2010 > v2013 and went to open the data file. Password dialog says "password mismatch". I call shenanegans and type it in manually. On the sixteenth keystroke I hear the Windows DING sound. They shortened the max password length to 15 characters, and all my backups have 16 digit passwords.
Worst of all Google shows me how this has been a known issue for at least 5 months. Sadly the installer has removed the prior version for me. So it's roll back time, and alot of time wasted. All I wanted was my freaking balances.
