Ergen has been saying WHAT HE WILL DO for several years now. And now he is again pushing it further in to the future. He is talking a good game, but delivering nothing. Let's wait until he actually does something before giving his promises any credence at all. -- "If you want to anger a conservative lie to him. If you want to anger a liberal tell him the truth."
If they did that with all of their $$$ and wireless holdings, Dish could very well in fact eat VZW and AT&T for lunch. It could launch a huge network basically over night without any issues; expect for backhaul and they could go easily to L3 and obtain that.
Smart companies won't do that. Sprint has enough issues currently trying to keep customers happy on their 3G network after they started Network UnVision. Now the network in many areas has more holes than it started with. Dish would be smarter to partner with TMO-USA and leave Sprint to hang out where they belong.
