Re: It's technically unlimitedAs another poster put on here, it isn't always 2G. Depends on tower loading. Essentially it is QoS. Those who have gone over their limit get lower priority so if the tower is fully loaded they get slower speeds. But if it is largely unused they can get the faster speeds. |

Re: ha... shady companyThat's why I have a prepaid Verizon ( still on the good old inexpensive Alltel plan) for the rural areas where my TMO phone automatically forwards to whenever out of coverage area Off course, if you are like really in the middle of nowhere all the time then that would become too expensive. |

...I will pay any unlimited amount for my service.*

Re: ha... shady companysaid by SimbaSeven:Let's see T-Mo work in rural areas. T-Mobile doesn't have the coverage Verizon does; there is a reason they can charge less. Now if there was one company under a tariff supplying service everything and everyone would be equal. |

great deal for meNow that ST is offering ATT Sims that work on LTE and bandwidth transparency, I personally am moving back to Straight Talk from T-Mobile. $60 vs $45 (even less with discounted re-up card) is a no-brainer.
Latency is very slightly higher, but transfer rates appear to be the same more or less on LTE regardless ATT MVNO vs ATT GoPhone vs T-Mobile. While I don't really need ATTs superior coverage area, it's nice to know that I'll have full use of my phone almost everywhere.
If I'm not happy... I'll just switch back. That's the beauty of GSM. |

Re: It's technically unlimitedIt's more like you get one plate, then if you want additional food they give you one of those teeny size paper sample cups like you get at Costco.

Re: ha... shady companyThe reason there is no Sprint coverage there in Billings, MT is because Sprint made a business decision to partner with Alltel for native coverage in that area, similar to how much of VA, WV, MD, PA is covered by nTelos and Shentel. Sprint did have great coverage in MT, on Alltel's network. Then the Verizon - Alltel thing happened, that entire area got divested to AT&T, and Sprint's coverage went away. Hopefully with all that SoftBank money they will look into building out some of the areas they lost. » www.engadget.com/2011/01 ··· rth-dak/ |

so, is SPRINT truly "unlimited?Sprint 4G LTE seems to have "unlimited" as far as I can tell. I pulled close to 8GB last month, and already at 3.89GB already (11 more days to go).
No MVNO is going to offer "unlimited data"...However Virgin Mobile doesn't seem to be metering 4gLTE on their plans. |

sprint unlimited 4GLTE?SPRINT Usage. Data Usage Listed was 3G usage. 4G LTE usage is not tracked. |

Straight 4GLTE limited as well?there is a Samsung galaxy s iii on StraightTalk now. Its a 4g LTE phone. Is this same 2.5gb limit applied to this phone on the SPRINT network? |
