Re: I can hear AT&T and Verizon stifling a laugh

I've never had a problem with them "de-prioritizing" T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling...

What's the point?

If you have to have a signal then it defeats the purpose of wifi calling. How stupid can Sprint possibly get?

I wouldn't trust Wi-Fi

I would rather have my calls go over the cellular network. Cellular is more reliable and secure than Wi-Fi.

I don't use public hotspots, I use cellular air cards on the go for computers.

Re: Republic

I wonder if they are working with Republic Wireless on this? The last I recall, Republic hands WiFi off to Sprint's network when necessary.

I have been tempted to give Republic a try since their prices are awesome... my only concern with the service is the Sprint network - not a big fan.

Re: Republic

Again, what is the problem here? So what if it should have been earlier? So what of others did it before them? Fact is, it's another feature they are adding.

You seem to have this idea that because they are adding this, everything else has stopped.

The bottom line is it's better late than never.

Yeah, but the net neutrality ruling hasn't even been around for a week yet.

Re: What a joke

IIRC, UMA is possible because of TMO's underlying implementation of GSM. I'm guessing it's more work to implement on CDMA.
