It's no surprise. Microsoft sold a massive amount of their xbones and sony sold a massive amount of their ps4's.. People are slowly turning away from nintendo and looking for something better for entertainment.
I don't see "as many" players these days. I have 10 friends or so that play games but I haven't seen them come online in a long while. I don't see a lot of players over in tunngle lobbies as i regularly do. Maybe everyones slowly putting gaming down and stepping back for some while? People have stuff to do, attend to their family, work, take care of business. Never anytime for millions to get any gaming hours.
I've been playing Final Fantasy IV for Android in Nexus 7 and how I loved Parom thwacking Palom for being so arrogant. Gotta save my game for tomorrow, riding Baron Castle of Cognazzo once and for all as I got Parom and Palom as high as level 29. I need to level up Cecil and Tellah and Yang are both at level 21. A bit overpowered for Palom and Parom, eh?
And if only I could make the battle message text bigger... Man, I can barely read except for dialog, HP/MP, menu text, and status screen. The stats in the upper-right could be a bit bigger in the equipment screen although I can barely read it. My right eye is just about barely a half-inch to an inch from the screen when reading small print. Not even reading glasses will help.
Edit as of 1/18/13 10:00 PM: Everyone except Parom and Palom got killed by the Cognazzo's flood attack as I tried to keep Cecil alive due to Baigan's self-destructing arm against him (yeah, Cecil's under-leveled and he died twice already). All's well when rested at Troia.
The Mrs., and I gots the ereaders (Sony PRST3) for Christmas and woo a 32gb microSD card can sure hold a lot of books. Sony says about 50k or so dependin'.
Facebook is rapidly losing teen users, but they are being replaced by the baby boomers. The advertisers are the ones who will care as those younger demographics are what they aim ads at. And Facebook investors will care as Facebook profits start to decline.
February 11th: The Day We Fight Back Against NSA Surveillance
The Internet is rising for a massive online protest against mass surveillance on February 11th. Benjamin Franklin was right, to allow mass surveillance to go on unchecked is the same as giving up the freedoms the founding fathers fought for. Are you in?
I might be looking at surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome on my right hand. I went through a round of occupational therapy and it initially improved but then it declined. They gave me the choice of steroid injections or going for a surgeon evaluation.
I just don't want to be tortured by steroid injections if the surgery is inevitable.
The culprit: years of playing video games as a kid and smartphone use.

Not necessarily. My wife who is a RN and an avid quilter had hers done surgically and hasn't had any problems at all. The needle work at home or work has not slowed down, lots of finger strength, dexterity required by both, and absolutely no lingering after affects.
6000 Miles to europe, from colombia.. then off to Russia for a week...
Enjoying a cigar... some rum... and some beautiful weather... Then off to the freakin cold Russian capital... and then back to the northeast US.
Man I'd like to just stay here and enjoy life.. Folks ... You owe it to yourself to travel outside the US before we get a bad rep in the rest of the world.
One Movie To Admire Based On Modern Architecture: The Incredibles
Beautiful waterfalls, nice room with wide open view of the mountains, beautiful hallways that did not get a lot of focus (it's all about characters), a nice transit system with rails, and there's...so much stuff to admire that I think Pixar did a very good job with the movie of The Incredibles. Sure, I do like Mr. Incredibles, Edna, and Mirage, but saving the world isn't the reason why I want to watch the movie as I already watched it last Saturday night. When I think about the movie of The Incredibles, I think about the architecture that Pixar put so much effort into the movie that the word I can describe is "breathtaking."
It just reminds me of Epcot and Contemporary Resort.
Anyway, I felt like emptying and sharing my thoughts with others since this is the weekend.
