Flash Back

This reminds me of the "good old days" when AOL had their walled garden version of the internet.

Welcome

"That’s not the Internet—that’s being fodder for someone else’s {snip} business."

What a lack of neutrality looks like in non-developing countries.

Ahms for the poor

Well it's kind of funny that they get an ad laden google/facebook. They are poor. They won't be buying the stuff in the ads anyway so why waste your bandwidth and send the ad to them. It's kind of stupid for G. and F. to think this is a good idea. Laughing at it a little myself.

The "poor" have money. Just not money for things "you" want to buy. The adverts would presumably be for things and foodstuffs they could afford and specifically tailored.
