Where's the Department of Justice

Hopefully they'll have to spin off all their content holdings (including NBC/Universal) as a condition of acquiring Time Warner Cable and be strictly a distribution company.

Re: Where's the Department of Justice

Our current DOJ could care less as long as Comcast keeps those contributions rolling in. What were you thinking?

Too bad those "contributions" aren't considered kickbacks or outright bribes.

The current Attorney General is an Obama flunky and rubber stamps anything his political boss tells him to do. If 2 Comcast execs are Obama best friends, Holder and the DOJ will do NOTHING to stop the merger.

that's what im hoping as well. maybe then satellite will have a snowballs chance in you know where of getting Comcast sports net Philadelphia and time warner sports los angeles without paying a ransom for them.
that should be part of the agreement with the government that Comcast makes available all channels that it owns at a fair price not 5.00 per sub but maybe 1.50 or 2.00 per sub.
